Party in the back.

A fun top that gives you business in the front and a little surprise party in the back.

I sure love an outfit with an unexpected twist, don’t you? This SHEIN sweatshirt has the cutest self-tie striped bow and the open back makes it slightly sexier, as well. Another great thing about this blouse: it’s only $12!!! Click here for yours! I’m sure you can tie a prettier bow than I (I tend to like the more messy/disheveled look). And hurry! They’re selling through!

Island gal.

Celebrating the start of Chamoru month in island print.

In case you didn’t know, I am currently living on Guam, my home isle. The month of March is Chamoru Month celebrating all things about the local Chamoru culture and the wonders of island living (and there are plenty of wonders). I would love to dedicate another blog post soon all about this beautiful island so stay tuned!

P.S. I love this island print tank dress by SHEIN. Order yours here!

Basic instinct.

Can’t help but fall back always to my favorite Fall color and print: red & glen plaid.

I have always loved the bright red with a Glen plaid combo but have never posted me wearing it. So, here’s one now with my favorite skirt & new favorite sweater. This sweater is actually a balloon sleeve but I wanted to turn it into more of a trumpet sleeve (my latest sleeve obsession) by pulling the end up past my elbow and letting the balloon part loose. Thus, I have created a faux trumpet-flared sleeve. Such hard work lol

Cozy at home with SHEIN.

Spotted in cozy spots whilst enjoying an iced coffee in bed.

Also spotted searching for more spotted clothing! Polka dots are my favorite print this Spring season.

I’ve always wanted to to do a comfy pajama look for the blog but just couldn’t find cute enough pajamas that inspired me, until I came across this adorable SHEIN pink polka dot set! Polka dots are the ultimate print for Spring and I am all about it! I love all things retro and nothing is more retro than a good polka dot print. Also, you’re getting a little sneak peak into my bedroom. I’ve been redecorating a little bit and loving the direction it’s going!

By the way, what do you think of my little hairdo? I never tried this look before and am curious to know what you guys think of it. Leave a comment for me!

“Love the pearls” and this white tee.

I have fallen for all the pearly embellishments and these boyfriend jeans are no exception. With a statement piece as bold as these jeans, I wanted to keep everything else a bit more simple. A casual white slogan tee will do just the trick! I also decided to go for these vintage readers and cozy velvet mules to keep the look laid back.

Do you love pearly things?

Princess of Wales.

An oversized ‘Prince of Wales’ check blazer a.k.a my latest obsession!

Dressing up like an 80’s punk princess never felt so good. I don’t think I’ve ever felt cooler! And if you know me personally, I am a huge nerd. Not at all as badass as I seem on film hehe but I’m okay with that! I’d like to think I am at least pretty cool for a mama.

Feeling quite glamorous in emerald & black.

Just a mini blog post on this silk lace camisole in the prettiest shade of green courtesy of my good friend, SHEIN. I layered it with a black turtleneck top because it is still layering season. However, this would look marvelous inside a blazer on its own when it’s about time to show more skin. 😉

Are you ready for Spring?

Wouldn’t knit be nice.

What do you think of my cheesy {but funnily clever} headline? 😉

And what do you think of this layering technique? A mock neck mesh top under an OTS sweater. Who woulda thunk?! I know I sure love it!

Winter is almost coming to an end and Spring is almost upon us. Cue the bold florals, polka dots & sheer fabrics! But before all of that, I am enjoying layering knitwear and this off-the-shoulder sweater by Forever21 is one of my ultimate favorites! It truly keeps me so warm & cozy! I love pairing knits with classic denim but with an added twist! And I sure love adding little twists to my every day wardrobe.

Would you layer your knits like this?

A top with feathered fringe, courtesy of SHEIN.

I hear feathers are trending this season, so I knew I had to get my hands on something with some feathered accents. Thankfully, SHEIN has been so kind as to send me this adorable fringe patch mesh top that gives the illusion of feathers. I just want to shake shake shake in this top all day long! And what is more chic than to have it in black! However, they do have this top also in pink, gold & brown so take a gander right here and see which color you prefer to shake in.

A belated New Year’s brunch.

I hosted a New Year’s brunch 5 days after New Year’s Day because because. And it’s a polka dot theme!

{A polka dot theme certainly calls for doughnut holes}

I had originally planned to host this New Year’s brunch on the day of New Year’s Eve, but my son was sick that weekend and his health comes first! Instead of canceling it entirely (I had already bought some of the decorations), I decided to postpone it for the following weekend because why not be different and celebrate New Year’s with friends a bit late? 2018 did just start less than a week ago so plenty of people are still celebrating the New Year, right? If not, oh well. My best gals and I (along with our little ones) are definitely still celebrating and enjoying every minute of the New Year so far! HAPPY NEW YEAR, folks! I wish you all a very fabulous one.
